We want to update the public on the total funds committed to Luke Mitchell’s legal fees. Luke’s family have now contributed £25,000 of their own money toward his legal representation — a profound commitment made in the pursuit of justice. Alongside this, £30,740 has been raised in public donations via CrowdJustice (before platform fees). In total, £55,740 (before fees) has been committed to securing and sustaining top-tier legal work for Luke. Every contribution — from Luke’s family and from the public — goes directly toward the legal costs required to challenge an unsafe conviction. We remain deeply grateful to everyone who continues to stand with Luke and his family. Transparency remains at the heart of this campaign, and we will continue to keep you updated.
Update: Legal Work Underway
We wanted to let everyone know that work with Luke’s legal team has officially begun. This next stage will take time, as the lawyers carry out careful and thorough work to ensure that every step is done properly and strategically.
Progress may not always be visible right away, but please know that things are moving forward behind the scenes. Your continued support and patience mean so much — it allows the team to focus on building the strongest possible case. When more details become available, we will update you all, and that will continue as the Legal team progresses.
